Something about Trudy Allsopp MDIA

Trudy Allsopp is a creative, passionate, yet practically minded interior designer - she is the principal designer and owner of Colour Confidence Interiors which she established in 2003.  Trudy is a full professional member of the Design Institute of Australia and participates as a mentor for RMIT design students.

Creating any number of looks from traditional to classic modern, oriental to country and with a particular interest and knack at bringing together elements from a range of global influences, culture and styles, and combining the old with the new in an interesting and individual way, Trudy can give advice on colour choice, window coverings, supply of furniture and accessories, kitchen and bathroom design together with project management.  From a simple room make-over through to management of larger projects.

A note from Trudy

Creating a home is a heartfelt process for me - working with you to create your personal space -away from the stresses of the outside world is to me a noble profession, and a satisfying one.  Seeing the excited and satisfied look on your face as it all comes together is why I do what I do.  Plus I am just mad about decorating!!

I would also like to dispel the idea that using a decorator/designer is going to cost the earth.  I honestly believe that in the long run my services protect your investment and save you money.  I  keep my rates to a minimum, work within your budget and at your pace.  Quite often as I deal directly with wholesalers on your behalf and pass any discounts at retailers on to you - my fees are covered by the great deals I am able to secure for you.  In addition you won't make expensive mistakes and you can sit back and rest - knowing that someone you can trust is handling all the details for you and that you will love the final result.

Great interiors do not have to cost a fortune if you have an experienced helper with flair!!
