Being based in Sydney I needed someone to get my Melbourne house in order. After being rented for a few years it was looking really tired. The polished floors were in bad shape, the walls all scuffed and the garden untidy. At the same time I needed help with rental furniture to present the house for sale. I found Colour Confidence on TrueLocal and decided to engage them based on other reviews. They were terrific, had a very sensible approach to design (and the limited budget) and was happy to manage the whole project - from painters, to the flooring, garden, rental furniture (saved me a fortune on what real estate agents were recommending) - they even went as far as replacing some of the tired lighting with flash new fittings that look a million dollars but didn't cost the earth. All in all Colour Confidence Interiors did a great job - with a fine balance of 'it must look good', but 'lets invest the right amount of money not to over invest' thinking.

If you have no idea about interior design like me, or are just too busy to manage the complexity of a house makeover, or need someone to source great home products or tradespeople then you should talk to Colour Confidence. I'd definitely recommend them.

Colour Confidence was recommended to us by a friend a few years ago when we were looking at refurbishing our pool and thinking about renovating our home.
They have made everything so easy and no doubt saved us time, money and lot of angst!
In reference to the pool, they helped us choose waterline tiles, pavers and a house render colour so everything would work. The pool looks a million dollars - so much better than we could have ever imagined!
More recently we have renovated our home. Trudy helped with the kitchen design and colours, bathroom feature tiles, room colours and curtains. In just a couple of hours all the decisions were made, we love the choices.
The Designer is very easy to work with and took the stress out of making these decisions that are so important. For the first time we had confidence that everything was going to work. Previously we would have spent a fortune on sample pots and still not have been happy with the end result!
I will probably never make a decision about paint colour or curtains without contacting Colour Confidence.

1 year ago I wanted to give the house a complete makeover but was quite daunted by the prospect of matching up paint colours, fabric, carpet etc. Instead of torturing myself for weeks, I found the Colour Confidence website and gave them a call.

The Designer came over and helped me choose absolutely everything. Some of her suggestions actually saved me money. She tactfully and quickly lopped off any hare-brained ideas I sprouted and put together exactly the look I was aiming for.

After I had the painting done, she came back and organised the curtains for me. From beginning to end. We have a perfectionist here folks - she came back after the curtains had been hanging for a couple of days to make a small adjustment. Everything looks brilliant.

I would sum up by saying it was a "fairy godmother" experience.............. and I LOVED it.
